Alternatively, participants can teach and it allows them to share their knowledge and skills with students in Ghana.
Week 1: Orientation The six-day orientation will be given in Accra and an introduction on Ghanaian culture – eg. language lessons, host family issues, safety, cross culture and workplace, immigration and visa issues, health, money, transportation and food matter; will be given to participants. A city tour is also organised.
After orientation: Participants are transferred to their work place. The placement will be based on the participant’s qualifications and areas of interest. The work location is in or near main regional towns but it is also possible to be in a more remote area.
Ghana is both a modern country and traditional life is still present. Its wide valleys, low-lying coastal plains, and thick rainforests resound with the beat of traditional rituals, while her cities glow and vibrate with all the bustle of the modern world.
