The Program
Our Teach in Thailand program offers excellent cross-cultural opportunities for native English-speaking participants, who are approved graduates and/or qualified teachers. It is not necessary to have a degree in education or teaching to be eligible.
The Schools

• Private and government schools in urban or rural location that provide education at kindergarten, primary, and secondary levels.
- • Schools provide a monthly salary to the participants of at least 20,000 Baht (after tax deduction).
- •Schools will provide at least one coordinator to help arrange all details when participants are teaching.
- • Schools provide suitable course materials and stationery when it is available.
- • Schools that accept a participant on a one year academic contract will provide them with a bonus of 20 000 baht upon completion of the contract. This applies only to participants starting in the May semester.
Accommodation
Schools will provide comfortable furnished accommodation for every participant: a small dormitory, teacher's house, apartment or rented house that usually includes bedroom, bath, sitting room and cooking facilities.
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Individuals with teaching experience are particularly welcome but not essential. People with a TESOL Certificate are not elligible to work in Thailand

• Flexible, resourceful and adaptable to new and unfamiliar situations

Start Dates
It is possible to do the Teach English program for five or ten months, starting in May and Mid-October. Term-long programs (minimum of three months) commence in January, May, August and October.

Included: Placement for 3, 5 or 10 months, local salary, accommodation, transportation from the orientation site to your host institution, 24-hour emergency in-country, legal documentation required to work, return portion of the airfare if you complete ten months contract, all-inclusive seven day orientation in Bangkok for five or ten months programs and two-week orientation for all term programs
