Spanish Courses and Volunteer in Costa Rica
Learn Spanish in San José, the vibrant capital city of Costa Rica in the middle of the country. The city is also a cultural and social hot spot close to nearby attractions such as the Arenal volcano and Monteverde
cloud forest.
Your Program
Start your travels to Costa Rica with a language course to gain the language skills needed to get the most out of your program. Your school organises activities such as daily latin dance classes, weekly cooking and conversation classes.
After completing your Spanish course (20 hours a week), you continue your program with volunteer work in the local communities. Volunteers have the choice to work in a number of social project in San José or to work in eco projects in nearby National Parks.
Participants live with a Costa Rican host family while in San José. On our eco projects, accommodation is generally on site and shared.

Included: airport pick up upon arrival and drop off at departure, home stay with Costa Rican family with private room, breakfast, dinner and laundry service, 20 hours per week of Spanish classes in mini-group (max 6 students), textbooks and class materials, Latin dance classes (Mon-Thursday, 1 or 2 hours), Costa Rican cooking classes (every Wednesday), extra conversation sessions (every Tuesday & Thursday), yoga class (every Tuesday), travel and health insurance, tourist information & reservations, free Internet, free luggage storage while volunteers travel or do volunteer work, free coffee, tea & fruit juices during the day, orientation and coordination of volunteer work, 24 hour emergency contact, administration fees in Australia and in Costa Rica
